Map Hounds

This is a pilot to a long series that I came up with during my senior year of college, it is a story about a kid named Elijah, or Eli for short. In the early 21st century the Earth had its first contact with extraterrestrial life, they gave the Earth gifts and technology beyond their wildest dreams. Or at least they claimed, because of this life flourished better than it ever had. A few years later the Earth's atmosphere was destroyed, and the planet was in turmoil. Life on earth was changed permanently.

This story shows how one kid uses these gifts to survive on the new desolate planet. The film is a passion project of mine so I am still working on it today, and some portions of the film are unfinished. I plan to animate all of it, once it’s properly boarded. The film itself is told through a series of dancing and music transitions. It is meant to feel like a music video for the first half of the film.
